HANDLING & TRANSIT INSURANCE

Our Insurance is optional and is charged at 10% of your removal cost. Cover includes all risks of physical loss or damage in transit anywhere in the UK and EU up to £50,000 and there will be no limit to any individual item. You will also be covered whilst your effects are being handled by our staff and in case there is any damage to either property.

If Insurance is not taken out you will only be covered up to £40 for each item which is lost or damaged as a direct result of any negligence or breach of contract on our part to cover the cost of repairing or replacing that item.

CONTAINER STORAGE INSURANCE

Again, this is optional and is charged at 10% of your weekly storage cost. This gives cover for a maximum of £5,000 per Container. If the value is higher than this there is an additional charge of £0.25p per week for each £1,000 extra cover required.

This covers losses due to fire, theft, explosion, lightening, earthquake, aircraft, storm, flood, burst or leaking pipes, riot, strike, civil commotion, malicioius damage and impact by vehicles.
